Hello, I joined the majority to ask a question …. When I was growing up I lived with my father. Constantly suffering from hunger, lead poisoning (acute and chronic), stress. I was forced to abandon school at age 15, Grade 10. I'm a diagnosis of autism, asbergers, Tourette syndrome, chronic depression, hormonal disorders and two in a row. Incidentally, I have a similar (and we used to be) twin brother who lived with my mother, is 2 inches taller, and completed his third year at university honors program. So what I can do in terms of continuing my father, etc? I remember I pulled into the lead paint, shouting to stop eating …. and more …. I'm on disability now $ 750 per month, including rent. Always have enough money, over $ 100,000 in shares, it would not be fair use.

this is a really important question for me.. anyone can answer.. doctors in here i hope.?

Ok. well.. my fiance and i are trying to conceive.. and much time has passed and still no pregnancy.. we have been trying to conceive for at least 8-9 months..

I was reading someones question on here about lead poisoning.. well as a child (from when i was born all the way until i was like 14 years old i had lead poisoning. very bad. i was like the highest case in all indiana and around it. it was BAD. well now i am fine. like i am pretty sure i have it still, but very little..

i am very worried that lead poisoning may be the reason of my hard time trying to conceive, only because i was reading a lot of stuff online about how having lead poisoning could later on give you fertility problems.
could this be the reason for my hard time conceiving?
could it have anything to do with it?
i really need some answers. and hopefully i can get some professional answers from maybe doctors.. but if anyone knows anything that would be helpful also..

some time it just takes a awhile it toke me 11 months after a m/c to concieve try doing differnt positions like from behind .i dont think the lead posining will have any thing to do with it

We know what the short term effects are (they describe her perfectly, too). Is there any research that show what the long term effects of lead poisoning are? flu vaccinations also contain 250 times the amount of mercury that the government considers to be ‘hazardous waste’.. and vaccinations are government backed– I don’t get the whole mentality of “oh the government would never let or do anything to harm us”.. it’s really too bad more people dont research things themselves and become educated- instead of just doing it because ‘the government says so’… thanks for posting this information =)

how does drinking during a pregnancey affect the baby?

I didn’t find out I was pregnant with my second child until I was four months. I had drink occasionally before then. My daughter, now four, is developmentally delayed, needs speech therapy, and has pica. Though she displays signs of autism and lead poisoning, doctors have said she has neither. Her behavior is out of control and she’s not even potty trained, as she keeps relapsing. I needed to know if my having alcohol while carrying her could of cause these issues. I need to know what direction to take with finding a diagnosis for her condition.

it is safe to have a glass of wine or one beer occassionally but drinking can lead to birth defects and brain damage like fetal alcohol syndrome (the lifelong hangover) but less severe it can cause developemental problems also
