Lead Poisoning Cdc
Aug/100

When I was a consultant to a major financial company, I worked with someone who was a good administrator. He had risen in the ranks and had revenues of six heavy figures.
But as time passed, she has shared her deepest desire of me just could not wait to retire. This seems strange, taking into account the fact that she was in her fifties.
I told I asked him what he planned to do with all your free time and she responded with eyes glassy, "I just want to fish."
"Fish?
"Yes, just leave a lake by myself, launched a line and one rebound. "
I could not imagine being happy in a canoe, rather than one central office. But millions of people in the same boat.
Retreat occupies an important place in the horizons of dreams. They may sleep, sleep late, do not respond at all, and just "be."
It seems fair Is it not? If you have been brilliant for decades, should not be able to hang and wiggle at a different pace or just leave the parade to pass?
But I I feel in some who aspire to retire, just not "being" as much as they want to be left alone. After responding to others in the company or their professions, do not drink, can not wait to put "Do Not Disturb" signs on the doors leading to the rest of their lives.
For many entrepreneurs and independent professionals otherwise may apply. As time passes, they seem to have more joy in their work rather than less. Some try hard to avoid having to withdraw.
A good example is Dr. William F. Sunderman, who died recently at age 104. He was a man of many talents and professions.
Doctor in the Second Manhattan Project World War, his research has helped shed light on topics as diverse as diabetes and lead poisoning among police officers. A musician, he plays a 1694 Stradivarius violin at Carnegie Hall at age 99. Congress honored as the oldest worker in the nation when she turned 100.
He loved the job. When interviewed by the Philadelphia Inquirer, said he had friends who have retired and drank more, got bored, and died. "Well, I want to live," he said.
Quoted by the Los Angeles Times, was convinced that Sunderman "One of the most important for longevity is to maintain a daily work schedule."
According to management guru Peter F. and my Professor Drucker, who has worked well in his nineties, pensioners miss work by other reasons. In addition to the work itself, "They ignore the rumors," mocks.
A dozen years have passed since the director shared his plans Retirement me. While I have nothing against fishing, I am pleased to announce that continues to work long, live long and prosper.
