Need holistic advice on how to detox lead?

Lead poisoning is a very serious condition. Just found out my youngest son has rising levels of lead from his recent test. Outside of the prevention aspect (We are currently looking to get everything in the immediate environment tested and corrected), what can I do to get the lead out…no pun intended. Does anyone know the name of this song?

This is kind a a dumb question, but there is this song stuck in my head, but I have no idea what the words are. It was a song from around 2005-2008. It was one of those pop/emo silly kinds of bands. I used to see the video all the time on the Fuse tv channel. All I remember is the music video (well, parts of it): I remember there was people sitting at a big dining room table, and one of the guys (the lead singer I guess) had this comb over hairstyle. I think the people in the video were poisoned or something. The song is the guy talking about a girl. It’s been bothering me all week. I was hoping someone could figure out what I am trying to say. Sorry if it’s confusing!

How can my son be tested for lead poisoning? He has all of the behavioral symptoms. Or is it just his age?

Are these “symptoms” that of a normal 3 year old or should I have my son tested for lead poisoning? I am aware of all of the recalls and he has not had any of the toys but that doesn’t mean he has never been exposed to it else where. I doubt he has even been around lead so much to call it “chronic” These “symptoms” may be the regular actions of a 3 year old….right?
Here is what I found of the behavioral problems:

Chronic exposure to lead may also cause behavioral problems in these children.

Behavioral symptoms in children
Irritability or aggressiveness
Hyperactivity, being easily distracted, impulsiveness
Learning difficulties
Lethargy or less interest in play
Loss of appetite
I should actually mention that he is extremely smart. He just doesn’t sit still long enough to read a book or play learning games. He is like a giant sponge and will remember just about anything you say or show him though. So I can make out that symptom.

If you’re really worried about it just go to your primay care doc and get them to run a lead level and blood test on your kid. It’s the easiest way to calm your nerves. Alternatively he may just be acting like a 3 year old.

how does drinking during a pregnancey affect the baby?

I didn’t find out I was pregnant with my second child until I was four months. I had drink occasionally before then. My daughter, now four, is developmentally delayed, needs speech therapy, and has pica. Though she displays signs of autism and lead poisoning, doctors have said she has neither. Her behavior is out of control and she’s not even potty trained, as she keeps relapsing. I needed to know if my having alcohol while carrying her could of cause these issues. I need to know what direction to take with finding a diagnosis for her condition.
